Dr. Thompson is the Medical Director for Hematology and Oncology at AdventHealth Hendersonville. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA. He went on to complete his residency in Internal Medicine from Emory University and his Fellowship in Hematology/Oncology from Brody School of Medicine East Carolina University in Greenville, NC.  Dr. Thompson approaches patient care with a focus on compassion and hope.
